GETTING HERE

The suggested way to travel to Noosa is to fly into Brisbane Airport and either take the Sunair or Henrys airport transfer service to Noosa or pool a hire car from Brisbane Airport. Sunair run frequent (hourly) airport to door services from the Brisbane airport to the Sunshine Coast ($82 return).

It is possible to do a train/bus trip from Brisbane Airport to Noosa by taking the airport train into Brisbane, a train from Brisbane to Nambour and a bus from Nambour to Noosa but aligning variable plane/train/bus times is problematic.  Timetables and journey planners are available on translink.com.au.

Brisbane airport is “one hour thirty minutes” away from Tewantin without traffic, but if driving it would be a good idea allow up to two hours due to congestion on the Gateway Motorway and around Brisbane, particularly travelling back to the airport. There are no major events on at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre 11th and 12th so hopefully traffic shouldn't be congested on the Gateway Motorway.

If you are using Sunair when booking you will be prompted for your flight arrival/departure time and suggested Sunair services will be listed to help ensure you get to your flight.
